Solar Photovoltaic Energy (Solar PV) - Renewable Energy for Domestic Use
Private Dwelling / Domestic Property, Shincliffe, Durham
In this particular installation the client contacted us after the Feed in Tariff came in, in April 2010. They had previously bought a Solar Thermal System from ourselves and were very happy with our installation and service.
They decided on a 2.76kW installation to cover a new roof on their garage which was angled specifically at 37 degrees so to maximise performance of the photovoltaic modules.
In this process we selected Dimplex, a supplier of high quality solar pv modules, installation kits and all electrical components including the inverter. Dimplex delivered on time and provided a high level of service.
The client not only liked the idea but also has an interest in green issues, saving carbon emissions and saving on fossil fuel bills.

Social Housing, Norton, Malton, North Yorkshire
As the building regulations require reduced carbon emissions, new buildings have to be built to the 'Code for Sustainable Homes requirements' and in this case these were built to Code Level 3. In this project each property had to have 0.82kWp of Solar Photovaltaic (PV) to pass the Code.
The planning conditions demanded an in-roof installation so we had these modules made bespoke for the project.
BES Consulting Engineers and Revolution Power worked together to design a system suitable for these demanding requirements. In this process we selected Romag a local North-East based supplier of high quality solar pv modules and installation kits.
