Solar Thermal Power in the North East and UK
Solar Thermal Power uses the power of the sun to heat your water.
Revolution Power's solar thermal systems will give a lifetime of free energy, and make an eye-catching addition to your home.
How Do Solar Panels Work?
Solar panels - or collectors - are fitted to your roof. They collect heat from the sun's radiation. A hot water cylinder stores the hot water that is heated during the day and supplies it later use.
Our solar thermal systems can create around 50-70% of the hot water your family uses. You will find that you probably don't need to use your boiler at all between April and October, and will enjoy copious amounts of hot water. Click to view testimonials

Benefits of Solar Thermal Energy
A typical solar thermal energy system can save up to 1 tonne of CO2 a year, and will help lower fuel bills.
Grants of £400 are available for solar thermal energy installation from the Low Carbon Buildings programme, for which we are fully registered installers.
There is no need to apply for planning permission for solar panels, unless you are in a listed building, conservation area or similar.
