If available land or disruption to the building or its surroundings is a challenge, then an air source heat pump could be the answer to reducing the energy costs. There are a number of ways to install an air source heat pump, they can either be mounted externally with or without a protective cage or they can be mounted internally using a ducted air system to bring in the outside air to the unit and exhaust air from the unit.
